Clean Label Baking Solution Offerings

In a recent press release, Kemin Industries, a global ingredient manufacturer, announced that the organization would be highlighting their product portfolio which consists of clean label bakery solutions at the 2025 International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE) that is taking place between September 14 to 17, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

At the 2025 International Baking Industry Exposition, attendees will be able to visit and meet with Kemin Food Technologies – North America experts, who can be found at booth #5827. Attendees will also be able to educate themselves on the company’s recent ingredient, Shield Pure, which is a “a new cultured dextrose solution that provides a one-to-one clean label replacement for synthetic mold inhibitors like calcium propionate.” Kemin’s booth will also enable attendees to learn more about the company’s ingredient solutions utilized in creating baked goods that keep fresh along with their shelf life.

The company will have a variety of clean label products on display that will help address formulation issues and keep both freshness and quality. As mentioned in Kemin’s press release, these ingredients will include:

  • Shield Pure is a new, clean-label mold inhibitor that extends the shelf life of baked goods like breads and sweet goods. This concentrated, synthetic-free solution delays mold growth without affecting the product's taste, texture, or quality.

In June 2025, Kemin Industries attended the American Meat Science Association’s (AMSA) 78th Reciprocal Meat Conference (RMC) in Columbus, Ohio.1 At the event, Kemin Food Technologies – North America’s Kayle Eivins, Technical Service Associate, presented on the importance of label appeal for consumers, as well as the rising trend being witnessed toward clean labels.
