Charles Ross Introduces PowerMix for High-Viscosity Mixing

Mixing equipment specialist Charles Ross & Son Co. (Hauppauge, NY) is now offering a planetary disperser and discharge system for high-viscosity, multi-stage mixing.

The patented PowerMix uses a stirrer blade and a saw-tooth disperser to sweep mixing vessel walls while incorporating powders, fibers, pellets, and other solids into a liquid. Each agitator can be controlled independently to allow for personalized flow patterns and shear speeds. The machine is used in conjunction with a Ross Discharge system and is capable of gathering viscous dispersions up to two million cP.
