BioVivo Science Opens State-of-the-Art Botanical Extraction Facility in Jeffersonville, Indiana

In a recent press release, BioVivo Science announced that their new state-of-the-art botanical extraction and toll processing facility located in Jeffersonville, Indiana, would be having a grand opening event between September 22 to 26, 2025, where the company will be provided guests with tours around the new facility, an opportunity to meet with company executives, and learn more about the organization.¹ With this new botanical extraction and toll processing facility, it will help benefit spurring local innovation, support industries involving food, beverage, US dietary supplements, pet nutrition, and personal care, as well as global supply chains.

The US has one of the largest dietary supplement and functional ingredient markets in the world, according to BioVivo Science’s press release. Additionally, it mentions that large-scale domestic botanical extraction opportunities are limited in the US. Brands have need to ship crops grown within the US overseas to have their crops processed and extracted and then need to re-import them back once they are finished ingredients. With this new facility, it may help lower supply chain risk and strengthen reliability and transparency.

• Certifications, including Sedex and Kosher, with FSSC22000, ISO 9001, Halal, and NASC Preferred Supplier in progress

2,000+ metric tons of annual powdered extract outputs, powered by fully integrated processes — extraction, concentration & purification, crystallization, spray drying, pulverization, granulation, and pre-mix & blending — with peak processing capacity exceeding 6,000 metric tons per year and tolling services available.

In a July 9, 2025, press release², BioVivo Science first announced their new Jeffersonville manufacturing facility, as well as the introduction of their American ginseng (Panax quinquefolius) extract and was showcased at IFT First 2025 which took place in Chicago, Illinois during July 14-16, 2025. The organization invested $70 million into the new 100,000 square foot cGMP-certified facility.
