AHPA Relaunches NDI Database

Article

The NDI database is a comprehensive compilation of NDI notifications submitted to FDA, comprising more than 575 entries.

With FDA’s recent release of new dietary ingredient (NDI) guidance, the American Herbal Products Association (AHPA; Silver Spring, MD) has updated both of its subscriber-based NDI resources: its NDI database and its NDI Notifications Submission Package.

The NDI database is a comprehensive compilation of NDI notifications submitted to FDA, comprising more than 575 entries. Along with each NDI file is a concise analysis summarizing how FDA responded to the notification and the problems identified by the agency.

The NDI Notifications Submission Package contains the tools needed to help companies successfully navigate the NDI notification process, including recordings of seminars and articles.
