CHS adds that Solbar’s product names, formulations, and sales/marketing contacts will remain unchanged.
Leading U.S. cooperative CHS Inc. (St. Paul, MN), which acquired soy protein ingredients specialist Solbar (Ashdod, Israel) in February 2012, says that it will now change the company’s name from Solbar to CHS, for full integration.
“Renaming Solbar as CHS will further build brand awareness with customers in food and food ingredient markets,” said Gary Anderson, senior vice president, CHS processing and food Ingredients, in a press release. CHS provides soybean oil, soy flour, and soy protein ingredients to manufacturers in the meat, vegetarian, beverage, and other markets.
