During Women’s Health Month, natural products company NOW announced it had launched its "Be You, NOW" campaign, featuring insights from several female voices in health and wellness, aiming to support women of any age in their own fitness and well-being routines.
The four female voices in the campaign include Olympic medalist and sprinter Gabby Thomas; Peloton instructor Emma Lovewell; celebrity yoga, Pilates, and meditation expert Kristin McGee; and Registered Dietitian Nutritionist DJ Blatner.
“As an elite sprinter where every second counts, I’m always thinking about performance, and to be my best I need to be smart about how I recover, fuel properly and get quality sleep,” stated Thomas, in the press release. “I’m giving a look into my daily routine showing how I balance being an athlete and taking care of myself, so that I can show up to my sport each day. I trust NOW to help keep me at my best on and off the track.”
As an example, the participants were asked about their morning routines, including nutrition and exercise habits. Thomas stated that on recovery days, she prioritizes a protein-packed breakfast, combining Greek yogurt, whey protein, nuts and seeds, with Manuka honey.
“Becoming a new mom has changed how I care for myself,” stated Lovewell. “I know that to show up fully for my family, I must feel my best too. I love knowing that NOW has me covered – not just for my health and wellness but for my whole family. It’s one less thing to think about, so I can focus on soaking up all these special moments.”
Lovewell explain that as part of her postpartum routine, her current breakfast is a bowl of oatmeal with chia seeds, flax seeds and fruit.
Throughout the month, the four women will share wellness tips, encouragement, and insights into their health routines, along with profiles, videos, and recipes (1). NOW offers multiple products including dietary supplements, functional foods, sports nutrition, health and beauty products, and essential oils.
