Vidya Herbs Acquires Manko

Vidya says its goal is to focus more on exclusive ingredients and research for its plant extracts.

Vidya Herbs (Bangalore, India) has acquired Manko Natural Flavours and Extracts Pvt. Ltd., an India-based supplier of oleoresins and natural food colors from a wide variety of spices. Vidya says the acquisition expands its own manufacture of spices, essential oils, and oleoresins worldwide, and will also allow the company to focus more on exclusive, high-demand extracts and oils.

Vidya says its goal is to focus more on exclusive ingredients and research for its plant extracts. Its facilities include a supercritical CO2 plant.
