SupplySide West Preview: Synbiotics Conference

Those attending SupplySide West for an extra day (Saturday) won’t want to miss the post-show conference on “synbiotics,” a combined approach of using pre- with probiotics. Robert Hutkins, PhD, the chief science advisor for Nebraska Cultures, will be a featured keynote speaker.

Hutkins is a food microbiology professor at the University of Nebraska. He is an active researcher in the areas of probiotic persistence in the gut and the role of synbiotics in human health. Hutkins’ speech will focus on just that.
