SPINS announces acquisition of Datasembly to elevate CPG market visibility for brands and retailers

SPINS’ acquisition of Datasembly aims to deliver real-time, store-level pricing and promotional insights for CPG brands and retailers.

On June 24, 2025, SPINS, an analytics and insights provider in the natural products industry, announced it had acquired Datasembly to produce a wider, more complete view of the marketplace for consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands and retailers1. Collecting data from 150,000 stores from more than 200 retailers across North America, Datasembly provides promotional intelligence and assortment insights. Coupled with product and category data from SPINS, the acquisition will allow for real-time, store-level product pricing data across various categories and performance across the industry.
