
Sabinsa appoints Claire Briggs as general manager for Australia and New Zealand
In her new role, Briggs will oversee regulatory strategy, product development, and innovation in various markets.
International health sciences company Sabinsa has announced a new addition to its leadership: Claire Briggs is now General Manager of the Sabinsa Australia New Zealand (ANZ) team. In her new role, Briggs will navigate regulations, lead product development, and support market growth for complementary medicine, functional foods, and sports nutrition.
She has become familiar with Sabinsa’s portfolio through work integrating their ingredients into product formulations, also commercializing them into consumer products. Additionally, she is a qualified naturopath, nutritionist, herbalist, having nearly two decades of experience in the complementary medicine industry.
Briggs has managed global research and clinical trials with Blackmores Group, managed product development and regulatory affairs at Global Therapeutics, and led brand development formulation, and regulatory compliance with Biomedica.

Founded in 1988, Sabinsa markets more than 120 standardized botanical extracts and employs more than 1800 people globally in 27 facilities.
