NutraCea, Beneo Sign Rice Bran Deals
NutraCea is a supplier of stabilized rice bran and other rice bran ingredients while Beneo-Remy specializes in functional rice ingredients.
NutraCea (Scottsdale, AZ) and Beneo-Remy (Wijgmaal, Belgium) have signed an exclusive co-branded sales and marketing agreement for rice bran products. NutraCea is a supplier of stabilized rice bran and other rice bran ingredients while Beneo-Remy specializes in functional rice ingredients.
Under the agreement, Beneo-Remy will distribute stabilized rice bran under the RemyLive brand in over 40 countries. Both companies will work together on applications and sales of additional ingredients, including RiSolubles, RiFiber, RiBalance, and defatted rice bran products.
“We are pleased to be the exclusive partner in distribution of SRB from NutraCea, whose bran stabilization technology is seen as the gold standard in the industry,” said Beneo-Remy commercial managing director Dominique Speleers. “In addition to being hypoallergenic, gluten free, and rich in antioxidants and phytosterols, NutraCea’s stabilized rice bran also expands our product by offering a whole grain product option, which is in line with the ongoing trend.”
