New Calamari Omega-3 Product

Standard Process has launched Calamari Omega-3 Liquid, a new omega-3 supplement derived from calamari.

The new product retains the triglyceride profile found naturally in calamari squid, including naturally high levels of DHA, says the brand. One serving of the supplement provides 1.2 g of total EPA/DHA.

The product has a citrus flavor and is suited for those who have difficulty swallowing pills, the company adds. Calamari Omega-3 Liquid has been third-party tested by Eurofins for contaminants such as heavy metals and toxic agents and is certified sustainable by Friends of the Sea.
