Naturex says that its site in Avignon, France, has successfully completed an audit for OHSAS 18001 certification. OHSAS stands for Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series, which certifies the management of health and safety in the workplace.

The company says the certification represents a new milestone in quality, safety, and environmental protection. It also adds to the site’s other certifications, which include ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and BRC.

“We are proud to gain this certification. It is a new step in our global approach to continuous improvement,” said Frédéric Seguin, industrial director. “It rewards the involvement of our teams and the investments that have been made to optimize our risk analysis systems.”
