Michael Petteruti named new president, general manager, of Chemi Nutra

Michael Petteruti, formerly the vice president of Gnosis by Lesaffre (Lille, France), has joined Chemi Nutra (Austin, TX) as president and general manager. Chemi Nutra, the U.S. business unit of Chemi S.p.A., is a supplier of such branded ingredients as SerinAid phosphatidylserine (PS), AlphaSize alpha-glyceryl phosphoryl choline (A-GPC), and Mediator phosphatidic acid (PA), ingredients targeting markets such as cognitive health and sports nutrition. Petteruti will take the place of Chemi Nutra’s outgoing president and CEO, Scott Hagerman, who is retiring.

Petteruti has extensive sales and marketing, regulatory compliance, and quality experience in the nutritional supplement, food, and pharmaceutical markets. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in microbiology as well as additional finance, regulatory, publication, and patent experience.
