Kemin Unveils ZeaONE for Eye Health

Kemin Health LC (Des Moines, IA), the maker of FloraGLO brand Lutein, has launched a new dietary form of zeaxanthin for eye-health called ZeaONE. Like FloraGlo, it is also sourced from a patented line of hybrid marigolds that contain high levels of the zeaxanthin carotenoid.

Kemin’s ZeaONE is a free-form zeaxanthin, meaning that it does not contain zeaxanthin esters that must be de-esterified by the body, a process that requires enzymatic processing that can cause a varied absorption from individual to individual.
