Kemin Launching Men’s Health Ingredient to Promote Healthy Prostate, Bladder Function

Kemin is launching a new AssuriTea tea-based ingredient, this time for men’s health: AssuriTea Men’s Health. The company says the ingredient contains a proprietary formula of catechins and theaflavins that help maintain normal urinary function-a top concern for older men. In particular, men more at risk of an enlarged prostate may suffer lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS).

The ingredient contains a blend of green and black tea. The company says clinical trial results show the ingredient can safely and effectively manage urinary conditions and comfort associated with aging. Like other ingredients in the AssuriTea line, AssuriTea Men’s Health is 100% water extracted and contains no harsh solvents or chemical residues. Additionally, the firm says, unlike some botanical ingredients used for men’s health, the ingredients in AssuriTea Men’s Health do not cause gastrointestinal stress.

Other ingredients in Kemin’s AssuriTea line including AssuriTea Green, a green tea extract, and AssuriTea Wellbeing, a hybrid of green and black tea extracts.
