Gnosis by Lesaffre recently announced its new brand identity, called “Think like Nature.” This new focus and company presence aims to utilize the strengths of Gnosis to further its mission to elevate human health while creating opportunities for innovation and growth.1 The new presence will debut at Booth 5565 at SupplySide Global 2025 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
“This launch unites Gnosis product brands under a stronger, more elevated master brand, making it easier for customers, partners, and consumers to understand, navigate, and engage with our products and solutions,” stated Ulrich Irgens, Gnosis general manager, in an October 16 press release. “It’s about bringing our scientific rigor, quality excellence, and customer-first approach to the forefront while carving out room for innovation to solve critical unmet health issues. All of this is to build a solid foundation that will carry our vision into the future and support our mission to raise the standard of human health.”
Irgens began leading the company in June 2024, announcing new goals for exploring company culture with a new mindset. The impetus behind the new push was to combine the strengths of Gnosis and realize a vision that was built on the three pillars of strategy, culture, and brand.
“These aren’t isolated efforts – they’re designed to work in harmony,” Irgens explained. “Because real transformation happens when a clear strategy is fueled by a strong culture and expressed through a brand that truly reflects who we are and where we are going.”
Fermentation at the core of Gnosis’ health innovation
The “Think Like Nature” focus is exemplified through fermentation, a combination of the wisdom of nature and the ingenuity of humans. The company will highlight the efforts of Lesaffre and advancements of Gnosis in fermentation, resulting in the creation of nutritional yeasts, biotics, and active ingredients.
The repositioning of Emothion, a glutathione in patented crystalline form, highlights the “Think Like Nature” initiatives of Gnosis. Glutathione, composed of three amino acids, is known as “the master antioxidant” due to its powerful role in the body.2
“Nature is our most trusted partner – its resilience, adaptability, and balance inspire us,” explained Lasse Sogaard, Gnosis global head of commercial – CCO. “Like nature, we are agile and ever evolving. Emothion® is an excellent example of how we learn from nature’s brilliance and then apply human ingenuity to engineer a solution clinically proven to deliver superior absorption, stability, and effectiveness compared to glutathione and S-Acetyl-Glutathione. Essentially, Emothion® increases antioxidant support at the cellular level, restoring balance inside that is visible outside.”

The brand launch will also highlight the evolution of Gnosis to meet industry needs as it collaborates with its partners to support health solutions globally while responding to consumer needs of transparency and sustainability.
“Every Gnosis initiative prioritizes customer impact, educating and elevating knowledge about market-relevant solutions that enhance human health,” Sogaard added.
Four principles are highlighted in these efforts: renewal, growth, adaptation, and connection. These principles aim to:
- Promote brand presence for increased impact with consumers and brand partnerships
- Create additional resources for more collaboration and highlight customer success
- Facilitate customer engagement and partnerships
- Create improved digital platforms to promote collaboration
