Health and wellness company GNC is enabling its customers to order its products using hands-free, voice-activated technology via Amazon Alexa devices. GNC says it is “one of the only major vitamins and supplements retailers to currently offer this functionality.”

Users can link their GNC.com accounts with devices with the Amazon Alexa app installed. Customers can then use voice-ordering to repurchase products from recent GNC orders or to adjust their order subscriptions.

“Debuting this new feature allows us to deliver on our commitment to offering customers personalized solutions,” said Daniel Frattaroli, director, e-commerce, GNC, in a press release. “We’re enhancing the overall customer experience by seamlessly fitting into our customers’ busy lives and daily routines to ultimately encourage healthy habits and help customers on their journey to Live Well.”
