Glanbia Nutritionals (Fitchburg, WI) has announced that its flaxseed plant in Angusville, Manitoba, Canada, has received Safe Food Quality (SQF) 2000 Code Level 2 certification, indicating a rigorous food-safety management system and regulatory compliance. The facility manufactures flaxseed-based nutritional and functional ingredients for the food and beverage industry.
“Building on existing quality standards, such as our current Superior Rating with the American Institute of Baking (AIB), this latest achievement highlights our dedication to setting the industry standard for safe, high-quality, stable flax ingredients,” said the facility’s site manager Matt Healy, in a press release.
