Glanbia acquires premix company Watson
Glanbia’s custom nutrient premix services now extend coast to coast in the U.S., with facilities in California, Missouri, Illinois, and Connecticut, as well as facilities in Germany and China.

Glanbia Nutritionals (Chicago) announced it will acquire Watson (West Haven, CT), a supplier of custom nutrient premixes, bakery ingredients, edible films, and other solutions for the nutrition, food and beverage, personal care, and dietary supplement industries. Glanbia says the acquisition of Watson strengthens its capabilities in microencapsulation, agglomeration, micronizing, spray dying, and edible film technologies.
