Prebiotics and protein supplier FrieslandCampina Ingredients (Amersfoort, The Netherlands) will highlight its gut health and sustainable-protein solutions at the Vitafoods Europe trade show taking place in Geneva, Switzerland, on May 9-12 (Booth H270).

A big focus will be the company’s new Biotis GOS-OP High-Purity prebiotic ingredient that especially addresses challenges formulating with prebiotic ingredients, which usually require a large dose. “Designed to help manufacturers overcome common challenges associated with formulating prebiotic supplements, this ingredient is efficacious in doses as low as 2 g, opening up a range of new opportunities for brands to develop effective and convenient holistic health solutions,” the company’s press release states.

The company will showcase trending concepts like protein waters and ready-to-drink products formulating with its Nutri Whey Isolate Clear and Plantaris plant-based protein ingredients. The company will also display its new carbon-neutral protein powder at Vitafoods Europe. Sustainability will also be a focus of a FrieslandCampina presentation during the show: “Helping You Meet the Demand for More Sustainable Dairy Products” on May 9 at 14:00-14:25 CET.
