Fluxome’s (Stenlose, Denmark) natural resveratrol ingredient has been self-affirmed Generally Recognized as Safe for use in food.
“The GRAS status confirms the safety and superiority of fermentation-derived products, where all process parameters are tightly controlled,” said the company’s vice president of compliance, Bo Stenhuus, PhD. The company’s fermentation process for producing the natural resveratrol is patented.
