DSM to highlight gut health, healthy aging, and more at Vitafoods 2023

Royal DSM (Kaiseraugst, Switzerland) will showcase a wide range of health-benefit solutions at the Vitafoods Europe trade show taking place in Geneva, Switzerland, on May 9-12, at Booth F80. Notably, the company will showcase its newly launched Health from the Gut platform comprising probiotic solutions.

Health from the Gut offers “market-ready probiotic solutions” whose goal is to support a healthy microbial ecosystem beyond just increasing levels of “good” bacteria, the firm says. The company will also stress immune health at the show with its Ampli-D calcifediol ingredient and Life’sOmega plant-based omega-3 ingredients.

Maternal and prenatal health will also be a big focus, with the company offering hero ingredients like Life’sDHA and Metafolin, a bioavailable form of folate. The company will also highlight its expertise in medical nutrition for healthy aging, including “a new concept to build a strong foundation to support gut, brain, and heart health to be prepared for the years to come.” Finally, DSM will display CanolaPro, a high-quality plant protein.
