Clarisoy, a line of isolated, transparent, soluble soy protein ingredients by Archer Daniels Midland (ADM; Decatur, IL), received the Best Beverage Ingredient Concept award at the 2012 InterBev Awards. InterBev is a North American beverage industry event.
ADM describes Clarisoy as “the world’s first vegetable-based protein that offers clarity and complete protein nutrition for beverage applications.”
The Clarisoy line currently comprises two ingredients: Clarisoy 100, a 100% soluble protein in beverages with a pH below 4.0; and Clarisoy 150, ideal for use in beverages with a pH of less than 4.0 with cloud systems, or in beverages neutralized to a pH of 7.0 or higher, including meal-replacement and weight-management products.
