Asma Ishaq joins Shaklee as newest addition to their executive team

Shaklee revealed in a recent press release¹, that the newest addition to the company’s executive team will be Asma Ishaq, who will be taking over as the head of the Liquid Collagen Acquisition Corporation. Earlier in July, the Shaklee Corporation disclosed that they had received an exclusive licensing agreement for the ingredient, Liquid BioCell Collagen, an ingredient created to help support the health of joints, connective tissues, and skin.²

With over 25 years of experience in the beauty, health, and wellness industry, Asma Ishaq is well-known in the space. Ishaq previously held the role of CEO at Modere. As mentioned in the press release, Ishaq is known the most for her work in nutricosmetics as the creator of Liquid BioCell, a multi-patented and clinically studied collagen supplement in the ingestible wellness and beauty category.¹ Previously, Ishaq has been involved with advisory boards for the Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN), the Direct Selling Association, and the World Federation of Direct Selling Associations. Additionally, she has taken part as the inaugural Chairperson of the Collagen Stewardship Alliance.
