The coffee-flavored coconut water beverage delivers hydration and energy.
Coconut water and açaí juice marketer Zola has added Coconut Water with Espresso to its existing coconut water beverage lineup. The coffee flavored coconut water beverage is positioned as a lower calorie alternative to other ready-to-drink coffee drinks and coffee flavored coconut waters currently on the market.
The new entry combines the hydrating benefits of coconut water and the pick-me-up benefits of coffee, and it said to deliver five essential electrolytes (potassium, sodium, calcium, phosphorus, and magnesium), more potassium than a banana, and 125mg of caffeine, which is equivalent to a 2 oz. shot of espresso. Each serving is 75 calories.
The beverage has been rolled out nationwide and bears a retail price of $2.49.
