Vitafoods will be hosting a Digital Week, May 11 – 15, 2020, dedicated to supporting and inspiring the nutraceutical industry by giving exclusive access to the latest science, insight, and trends. The event will support the industry in finding new ways to work more smartly and seek inspiration, drive conversations, and inspire connections online.
The five-day virtual event will provide attendees with a unique learning experience fueled by a carefully curated series of webinars and podcasts covering European ingredients trends, healthy aging, immunity, sports nutrition, and sustainability. The online event will also feature product showcases and provide access to a range of downloadable reports, articles, and galleries that will be available for free throughout the week. FMCG Gurus and Innova Market Insights are confirmed knowledge partners of the event.
“In light of the unprecedented challenges facing the global industry, we wanted to bring the nutraceutical community together in a way that allowed us to collaborate as we usually do in person to understand how we can continue to support consumer health into the future,” said Chris Lee, managing director, Health and Nutrition Network, Europe, Informa Markets, in a press release. “The Vitafoods name is synonymous with showcasing the latest expertise and driving forward the most important conversations, and our Digital Week will build on these commitments.
“The expansion of our digital offering, which already includes Vitafoods Insights, means we are able to facilitate dialogues and invite the industry to further their learning opportunities through engaging with leading experts and exclusive content,” he continued. “By creating an online space where businesses and individuals can connect to share their opinions, insights and ideas, we’re ensuring the continued provision of innovation, inspiration and information on the topics that really matter today and for the future.”
A preview of Vitafoods Europe’s State of the Nation report will also be available during the week. Featuring an in-depth analysis of the nutraceutical industry and what lies ahead for the next decade, the full report will be launched at the show (Sept. 1 – 3, 2020, Palexpo, Geneva, Switzerland) to provide insight-driven commentary to inspire the industry, and ultimately the end consumer, to help to shape the future of the food industry.
