B&M Inc. recalls its Archer Farms Ground Turmeric, sold at Target stores nationwide.
Turmeric with excessive amounts of lead is hardly tumeric at all. That’s why B&M Inc. (Mount Vernon, MO) had to voluntarily recall its Archer Farms Ground Turmeric, which was already distributed (and presumably sold) at Target stores in 42 states.
B&M notified FDA of its voluntary turmeric recall last Friday. The company says its recall does not affect other B&M spice products.
At the point of recall, no related illnesses relating to the turmeric had been reported.
