TSI Group has announced that its myHMB and myHMB Clear ingredients, which support muscle health, have achieved Informed Ingredient certification. LGC’s Informed Ingredient certification is a voluntary program that screens ingredients for 250+ banned substances to parts-per-billion accuracy.
“HMB is experiencing a surge of interest. As the HMB pioneer with nearly 30 years of experience, TSI Group is doubling down on educating the market on how to find the highest quality HMB for their products. Achieving Informed Ingredient Certification is yet another way to confirm our customers’ trust in our high standards,” said TSI Group President, Larry Kolb, in a press release.
“As a reputable ingredient supplier, TSI Group was already very diligent and transparent about its processes. Informed Ingredient certification adds an additional level of credibility and quality assurance to their brands, which further distinguishes them from their competition,” added LGC business development director, Paul Klinger.
According to TSI’s press release, myHMB is the only HMB to be US ODI, self-affirmed GRAS and FSMA compliant, and in 2022, it became the only USP-verified HMB. We are clearly the leader in third-party certifications of HMB ingredients,” said Kolb. “We have established an extensive dossier with safety data tied to our manufacturing processes, as well as more than 100 peer-reviewed clinical trials confirming myHMB’s safety and efficacy.”
