Tea Brand Steaz Switches to Green Tea Only

Ready-to-drink tea beverage brand Steaz says that starting this year, the only tea featured in its entire product line of sparkling teas, iced teas, and energy drinks will be green tea. The company says this will make it the only all green tea–based, USDA organic, fair trade certified ready-to-drink tea brand on the market.

Why the switch to green tea only? For health benefits, the company says. “The transition to a fully green tea–based beverage portfolio is as healthful and beneficial as it is symbolic,” says executive chairman Jay Garnett.
