Ayurvedic ingredients specialist Sabinsa (East Windor, NJ) highlighted its ingredient portfolio, including Cococin WS, a water-soluble coconut powder targeting energy and rehydration; the company’s “gold standard,” trademark Curcumin C3 Complex turmeric complex; AquaSol, the company’s line of water-soluble herbal extracts (including amla, garlic, Momordicin Momordica charantia, Gymnema sylvestre, and Bacopin Bacopa monnieri); and LactoSpore, the company’s room temperature–stable probiotic ingredient, which recently featured in products such as the Tutti Frutti brand of frozen yogurt and bread from Colombia bread company Perman Bread. In light of growing buzz on curcumin, the firm also promoted its new book on its C3 Reduct tetrahydrocurcuminoids, which are metabolites of curcuminoids. The company says research shows tetrahydrocurcuminoids are superior antioxidants compared to curcuminoids themselves.
