The facility will produce organic ingredients for West Coast customers.
Suanfarma USA (Salt Lake City, UT) has opened a new facility in Utah. The new facility offers 165,000 sq ft of storage space and 30,000 sq ft of refrigerated storage space. Both the Utah site as well as Suanfarma’s New Jersey facility now hold USDA Organic and Fair for Life (FFL) certifications.
The new features of the Utah site provide “all the systems necessary to uphold the quality of FFL and organic-certified ingredients,” the company’s press release states.
FFL certification verifies the company’s social responsibility, environmental sustainability, and ethical supply chain practices. “We are proudly increasing our organic, Fair for Life ingredients line, including ashwagandha extract, banaba leaf extract, organic cinnamon powder, melissa (lemon balm) extract, tart cherry powder, organic turmeric powder, organic ginger powder, and many others,” added Tammy Walton, Suanfarma USA’s business development manager, in a press release.
Suanfarma also offers branded wellness ingredients including Metabolaid, Move!Plx, and RelaxPlx, as well as beauty-from-within ingredients Nutroxsun, Zeropollution, and Eternalyoung.
