Robertet Health and Beauty (Grasse, Provence, France) ingredient Extramel has received a health claim from the Consumer Affairs Agency of Japan as part of a food supplement from Zeria Healthway called Yasuragi Life – Peaceful Life. This is part of an exclusive partnership between Zeria and Robertet in which manufacturers who choose to use Extramel to formulate Foods with Functional Claims with Zeria will be able to use the claim, “Reduces the perceived stress of everyday life, and physical and mental fatigue" on their final product in Japan.
Registration for the health claim authorization took over four years. Extramel also benefits from registration in the Canadian Natural Health Products Database(NPN: 80088835). Extramel is a unique melon juice concentrate derived from a proprietary Cantaloupe variety grown in the south of France. The concentrate is rich in the antioxidant Superoxide Dismutase (SOD), which contributes to Extramel’s ability to alleviate feelings of stress and supporting cognitive and physical performance, including mental focus, and decreasing fatigue.
