Integrated Nutritional Composites (INC) bi-layer tablet technology makes possible dual-formula tablets, including for “synbiotics” combining pre- and probiotics.
Frost & Sullivan has recognized Sabinsa Corp.’s (East Windsor, NJ) Integrated Nutritional Composites (INC) bi-layer tablet technology, which makes possible dual-formula tablets, including for “synbiotics” combining pre- and probiotics. The industry analyst bestowed the company with its 2013 North American Integrated Prebiotic Delivery Technology Innovation Award. Sabinsa introduced INC tablets in 2011.
“Frost & Sullivan firmly believes that the Integrated Nutritional Composites (INC) technology developed by Sabinsa is an innovative, game-changing technology in the prebiotic delivery and formulation market,” says Frost & Sullivan research analyst Arpita Mukherjee. “The bi-layer tablets enable the integration of incompatible ingredients, help explore different time-release profiles of the ingredients, and are also quite attractive due to their two-tone appearance.”
Sabina also received Frost & Sullivan’s North American Personal Care Ingredient Green Excellence of the Year Award in 2008 for its sustainable product line and marketing practices.
