The large-scale elliptical head pressure vessels are now available as custom fabrication projects from Ross.
Ross Engineering (Savannah, GA), a division of Charles Ross & Son Company (Hauppauge, NY), now offers large-scale, elliptical head pressure vessels available for use as carbon filter tanks. The tanks are available for custom fabrication projects in sizes up to 100,000 gallons, and possibly larger.
In a press release, Ross Engineering shared an example of two recent pressure vessel builds with a 5,000-gallon capacity and designed for 100 psig and 230° F. The tanks include various size nozzles, contoured pipe legs, lifting lugs, and an elliptical manway.
Ross Engineering offers a variety of fabrication project capabilities, including agitators and mixing controls, heating/cooling jacket, non-destructive testing, special coatings and tank liners, sheathing and insulation, and more. Available construction materials include carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, Monel, Hastelloy, and Inconel.
