RFI Acquires Alta Quality Nutrition
The California-based company will give RFI its third U.S. production site.
RFI Ingredients (Blauvelt, NY) has acquired Alta Quality Nutrition (Modesto, CA), according to company reports. Alta Quality Nutrition is a contract manufacturer, product development specialist, and raw materials supplier for food and nutrition businesses.
Alta Quality Nutrition’s services include custom blending, grinding, milling, capsule and tablet production, bottling, canning, and pouching. The company runs an organic, kosher, and AIB-certified facility.
Already running operation sites in New York and Colorado, RFI will now have a stronger presence in the U.S. market. The company says it is retaining Alta Quality Nutrition CEO and president Dave Ackerman to spearhed business on the west coast.
