Ocean Spray Wraps Up May Trading Event

Cranberry cooperative Ocean Spray sold 166,750 gallons of cranberry concentrate at its May 4 trading event, according to reports from Ocean Spray Ingredient Technology Group (Lakeville-Middleboro, MA).

A total of 17 companies participated in the event, which is held periodically to provide prospective customers with a transparent trading system.

Closing prices for three of the purchased contracts sold for an average 10% increase compared to closing prices at the company’s January 2011 trading event.

The next Ocean Spray cranberry concentrate trading event will take place in July.
