Nutritional Outlook Wins 2019 Western Publishing Association Maggie Award

This is the fifth Maggie Award Nutritional Outlook has won since 2013.

Nutritional Outlook magazine won its fifth Maggie award from the Western Publishing Association on Friday, May 3, 2019. This year, Nutritional Outlook was awarded for Best Feature Article, Trade Category (Circulation under 50,000).

The winning article is titled “Scaling Up Stevia,” written by editor-in-chief Jennifer Grebow, with graphics designed by art director Quinn Williams. It was published in the magazine’s May 2018 issue. Click here to read the article or view the entire May 2018 issue here.

This is the fifth Maggie Award Nutritional Outlook has won since 2013. Previous awards include three consecutive awards for Best Trade Publication (Circulation under 50,000).

The 67th Maggie Awards were held in Los Angeles on May 3. The awards recognize excellence in the publishing field. This year, the awards honored 51 winners. “These 51 winners all represent the best in publishing and digital media across consumer, trade, student and digital media. They are creative, thought-provoking and produce truthful, objective and reliable media for millions of readers,” Maggie Awards chair Catherine Upton said. Other winners this year included Variety, Sierra, and VegNews Magazine.

“We are honored to be recognized by the WPA,” said Grebow. “Thank you to the judges, and thank you to the awards organizers for their dedicated work and support of the publishing industry.”
