Nutraceuticals International Group (Paramus, NJ) has added two ingredients to its lineup.
The first, a-Lacys Reset, is a patented combination of alpha-lipoic acid (ALA) and cysteine that the company says acts as a free radical scavenger. As the company explains, ALA helps to reduce free radical production, while cysteine promotes synthesis of glutathione, the body’s master antioxidant. As a result, the ingredient may increase well-being and reduce fatigue. It is suited for tablets, capsules, soft gels, stick packs, and protein shakes.
The second new addition is the ExceptionHyal line of sodium hyaluronate. There are three versions, ranging from low to high molecular weight. Applications include joint health, oral care, antiaging, and skin moisturizing.
