The Natural Products Association (NPA; Washington, DC) is promoting the services of its association representatives who are available to speak on a variety of topics, including:
- Industry advocacy at the federal and state levels
- Educating retail staff about industry regulations
- The science of natural products
- Dietary supplement regulations, health claims, and benefits
- Good manufacturing practices and GMP certification
- Defining “natural” and the NPA Natural Seal
- Trends in the natural products industry
Speakers include NPA’s executive director and CEO John Gay; NPA’s vice president of scientific and regulatory affairs Cara Welch, PhD; and state government relations manager Elizabeth Hurst.
