The company’s juice powder is 100% water soluble.
NP Nutra (Gardena, CA) is now offering a mango juice powder the firm says is ideal for use in dietary supplements, food and beverages, and cosmetics.
Mango is a high source of dietary fiber, including the soluble fiber pectin. It also is a good source of vitamin B6 and a very good source of vitamins A and C, the company says, as well as carotenoids such as lutein, alpha-carotene, and beta-carotene. Plus, mango contains polyphenolic compounds such as mangiferin, penta-O-galloyl-glucoside, gallic acid, ellagic acid, and methyl gallate.
NP Nutra also points out that pilot studies are now in progress at Oklahoma University to study any links between mango and glucose and lipid parameters in obesity.
The company’s juice powder is 100% water soluble, suited for juice blends, smoothie mixes, sports drinks, flavored yogurts, ice cream, and more. It can also add scent and golden coloring to body butters, lip balms, and other skincare products.
