NP Nutra Launches AcaiVida

NP Nutra (Rancho Dominguez, CA) has introduced AcaiVida, which the company calls a superior-quality acai ingredient, rich in anthocyanins, that capitalizes on growing consumer interest in the acai berry.

The company says the ingredient offers outstanding water solubility and can be used in a much wider variety of products than ever before. It says it is especially suited to meet the requirements for a highly water soluble acai powder with less carrier content and no filler added. The ingredient is both kosher and GMP certified.

NP Nutra adds that the acai berry contains 10 times the level of anthocyanins as do cherries.
