Dietary supplements brand Procera Health is expanding its brain-health offerings with a new product designed to support stress relief, emotional processing, and cognitive function. The new Procera Mood combines 13 ingredients for mood enhancement, including the three adaptogens American ginseng (Panax quinquefolis), ashwagandha (Withania somnifera), and Rhodiola rosea.

Procera Health says the adaptogens are included for potential benefits to the adrenal system, which manages the body’s hormonal response to stress. The new product also includes the proprietary ingredient Zembrin, a standardized Sceletium tortuosum extract designed to promote calmness, which is supplied in the United States by PLT Health Solutions (Morristown, NJ).

The other ingredients in Procera Mood are magnesium, zinc, 5-MTHF, L-theanine, and vitamins C, B2, B3, B6, and B12-a combination meant to promote relaxation and improve attention, neuron balance, and neurotransmitter balance.

“Life can be full of stress, uncertainty, and pressure,” said Scott Eibel, CEO of Procera Health. “We decided to create a natural and accessible mood stabilizer to help those seeking emotional balance and cognitive support. Unlike pharmaceutical anti-depressants, natural solutions are non-habit-forming, do not cause drowsiness, have no major side effects, and do not promote rapid mood cycling and shifting.”

Procera Mood is now available nationwide online and at stores such as CVS, GNC, and Vitamin Shoppe. The recommended usage is two gel caps taken daily before going to sleep.
