This year’s Natural Products Day, organized by the Natural Products Association (NPA; Washington, DC), will take place March 19, the association announced. This year marks the 16th anniversary of the event, which happens in Washington, DC, each year to allow NPA members to meet with members of Congress about issues in the natural products industry. “This is a crucial time to educate new members of Congress and ensure that harmful legislation does not gain a foothold in the 113th Congress,” states NPA executive director and CEO John Shaw. “NPA anticipates many legislative and regulatory challenges for our industry in 2013.
