A new soda containing three kinds of biotics—prebiotics, probiotics, and postbiotics—is now on the market in the U.S. The Mighty Pop soda brand, which launched in the U.S. in November, calls itself “the first soda to contain prebiotics, probiotics, and postbiotics all in one can,” promising to deliver 1 billion live cultures per 12-oz serving.
The soda is marketed for digestive and immune support and comes in four flavors: Strawberry Hibiscus, Berry Lime, Grapefruit Pineapple, and Orange Vanilla. The soda is low in sugar, containing 3 g of total sugar and 3 g of fiber from acacia plants.
The product comes from beverage developer Beliv.
