Lonza makes TWK10 sports probiotic available in Europe

Lonza’s (Basel, Switzerland) TWK10 sports probiotic ingredient is now available in the European market. The ingredient is a unique L. plantarum probiotic strain sourced from Taiwanese kimchi. The company says it supports athletes’ health, performance, and endurance.

Lonza is licensing the ingredient from Synbio Tech Inc. A 2018 study showed that TWK10 increased exercise endurance in study subjects by up to 75%.¹
