As it does at every IFT show, the U.S. Dairy Export Council showed us new and innovative ways to serve consumers more protein, deliciously, throughout the day. Check out this Lentil Power Soup, a zesty lentil curry delight that includes proteins from milk protein concentrate and a concentrated casein ingredient. Each serving delivers 20 g of protein (40% Daily Value) and 35% Daily Value of calcium. Why soup? According to Euromonitor (December 2013), premium soups emphasizing health and wellness will drive this category to 8% growth in 2013-2018, to $5.4 billion.
