Kemin Launches Sports Recovery Version of AssuriTea Polyphenol Ingredient

Kemin (Des Moines, IA) is now extending its AssuriTea tea-based ingredient line to the sports recovery market. Like its predecessors-including AssuriTea Men’s Health, AssuriTea Green, and AssuriTea Wellbeing-AssuriTea Sport comprises high levels of polyphenols.

“AssuriTea Sport can be taken by men and women of all ages who want to recover more quickly from exercise and other activities that cause fatigue and soreness, allowing them to accomplish their physical routines with more frequency and power,” the company said via press release.

“AssuriTea Sport offers strong science that demonstrates improved post-exercise recovery for your muscles,” added Jeff Flora, president of Kemin’s human nutrition and health division. The company says its evidence includes human clinical trials.
