A Norwegian magazine called Innovasjonsmagasinet (InnoMag) has named biotechnology and krill-harvesting company Aker BioMarine (Oslo) Norway’s most innovative company. The company beat out 25 other top Norwegian companies for the honor.
The publication focuses on innovation, startup news, and business trends, among other topics. The panel responsible for selecting the top innovative company stated that Aker BioMarine “has taken a global market leader position in krill-based ingredients.” The panel also noted that Aker BioMarine’s commitment to sustainability and traceability factored into their decision. According to the company, the final decision was made by a panel of independent experts with input from the magazine’s editorial board. In selecting the top company, InnoMag also received contributions from its readers.
