Indena Offering Kosher Curcumin, Green Tea Extracts

Indena (Milan, Italy) is extending its range of kosher-certified botanical ingredients with the addition of Meriva kosher-certified curcumin extract and Greenselect kosher-certified green tea extract. Both ingredients were verified by KLBD, the Kashrut Division of the London Beth Din.

Meriva and Greenselect are both marketed under Indena’s Phytosome line, a range of ingredients designed for improved bioavailability of compounds normally thought to have poor solubility in water and organic solvents. Clinical studies support Indena’s curcumin extract for osteoarthritis and inflammation relief and Indena’s green tea extract for weight loss and antioxidant support.

Both ingredients are manufactured at Indena’s production plant in Milan.
